We are nearing the end of our elementary school fundraiser. MyBooster is providing an incentive for one final push to the end. If your child receives a donation by tomorrow 5/10 your family will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card!

The National Honor Society students have done several fundraisers throughout the school year. At their last meeting, they voted to donate $800 to the Todd County Foster Closet. The Todd County Foster closet serves children in the area from birth to age 18. It is their goal to help children in times of need. As needs for items arise, NHS students will shop for items that are currently needed. This past weekend, they purchased shoes that were needed and presented to them Kristie Giesler, founder of the Todd County Foster Closet.

Have you thanked a teacher today? Past or present teachers have impacted all of our lives. We recognize them today and every day. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10. Thank you for all you do for our students and school.

Our 4th grade Math Masters team had a hard-working day on Thursday at their competition in Staples! Congratulations on a successful day!

he 7th grade FACS students learned about MyPlate and got a customized MyPlate plan. They kept a log of what they ate for a day and then put the foods into the food groups. They then made their own food chain that represents the categories of food they ate for the day. The categories were:
Grains - Orange
Dairy - Blue
Fruit - Pink
Vegetables - Green
Protein - Purple
The visual was a great way for them to see how they are doing with following the MyPlate recommendations for their age.
