I got to treat these students to Tip Top today. The nine 6th grade students each read one million words this year. Our lone 3rd grade student was our top fundraiser in this year's elementary fundraiser. -Mr. Schmidt

Elementary Field Day is Thursday, May 25th at the Osakis Schools athletic complex. Grades 4-6 will be participating from 8:45-10:45 am and Kindergarten - 3rd grades will participate from 12:30-2:30 pm.

One of the many advantages of being in a pre k-12 school is the ability to collaborate school-wide. Mrs. Backes's 4th-grade reading classes paired with Mrs. Pillsbury's high school English class on "Tune Tuesdays". Students worked on figurative language, themes, and vocabulary.

Our 4th-grade class had a great day at Battle Point. The Sauk River Watershed, Todd Co. U of MN Extension, Todd and Stearns Co. SWCD, and Prairie Woods ELC provided numerous activities for our students to participate in.

The Osakis Envirothon team competed at Fergus Falls for State Competition. The beautiful weather and setting provided the perfect conditions for their 6th-place finish out of 27 teams. Great work everyone!
